1. Who we are
This policy follows the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 94-V of 21 May 2013 “On Personal Data and Their Protection”. The data controller is One Day Studio, the owner of birkun.kz (“the Studio”, “we”). Our legal details are available on request at info@birkun.kz.
By using the website or contacting us, you agree to this policy.
2. What data we receive
- The website has no forms — we never ask you to enter data on its pages.
- When you message us on WhatsApp, call or email us, we receive your name, phone number, email address and whatever you choose to share: a project description, files, links.
- Professionals who apply to work with us also send a portfolio and details about their experience and rates.
- Technical data: our hosting server may automatically log your IP address, browser type and the date and time of your visit (server logs).
3. Why we use it
- to reply to your enquiry and discuss your project;
- to prepare a proposal, sign and perform a contract;
- to assess a professional's experience and offer a suitable project;
- to keep the website running and secure;
- to meet legal requirements.
We never sell personal data and never send marketing messages without your consent.
4. Cookies and browser storage
The website does not use cookies for advertising or analytics. Your language choice is saved in your browser's local storage (localStorage) on your device; you can clear it in your browser settings.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser shares its IP address with Google. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy.
5. Who we share data with
Only with parties we need to fulfil the purposes in section 3:
- communication services — WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) and our email provider;
- our hosting provider;
- contract professionals working on your project — only as much as the work requires, under a confidentiality obligation;
- public authorities — when legally required.
Some of these services may store data outside Kazakhstan. Such cross-border transfers are made in line with the law of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
6. Retention and security
We keep data only as long as the purposes in section 3 require, or as long as the law requires. Applications from professionals are kept for no longer than one year after our last contact, unless agreed otherwise. We use organisational and technical measures to protect data against unauthorised access, alteration and loss.
7. Your rights
You can ask whether we hold your data, get a copy, have it corrected or deleted, withdraw your consent, and complain to the competent authority or a court. 8. Children
The website and our services are intended for adults and organisations. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The new version applies from the moment it is published on this page; the date is shown at the top.
